In the heart of the NSW Alpine Region, a vision was born to inspire individuals to embrace the outdoors and live life to the fullest. Helm Design Studio was approached by an ambitious team with a dream: to create Ventnor, an apparel brand that would become synonymous with adventure, fresh air, and the thrill of exploration. The region, known for its majestic trees and the wild deer that roam freely, holds a special place in the hearts of Ventnor's owners.
The challenge was clear: craft a brand identity for Ventnor that not only resonated with the spirit of adventure but also paid homage to the unique characteristics of the NSW Alpine Region. The brand needed to inspire, motivate, and remind people of the simple joys of stepping outside and embarking on a new journey, all while echoing the natural beauty and wildlife of the region.
Brand Strategy & Identity Development: Engaging in deep discussions with the Ventnor team, we delved into the brand's core values, aspirations, and vision. This collaborative approach enabled us to craft a comprehensive brand strategy that would serve as the foundation for all subsequent design efforts. The resulting brand identity was a harmonious blend of modern design elements with rustic undertones, capturing the essence of adventure, the alpine spirit, and the region's iconic trees and deer.
Print Collateral: Venturing beyond just the brand identity, we designed a range of print materials that would further solidify Ventnor's presence in the market. This included eye-catching stickers that adventurers could proudly display, and swing tags that added a touch of sophistication to each apparel item, reinforcing the brand's commitment to quality and detail.
Apparel Design: The pièce de résistance was the creation of a signature jacket design. Every stitch, every detail was meticulously planned to ensure that the jacket not only stood as a testament to Ventnor's quality but also embodied the brand's ethos of "adventure. breathe. live."
